Zara Morena
Pilates Instructor & Admin
Zara is known for getting the very best out of people—and never giving up on them. She has over two years’ experience as a Pilates instructor, alongside a background teaching fitness classes since 2018, progressing into personal training and Pilates. Passionate about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and better than when they arrived, Zara always pushes for progress—and has definitely had the whole class clapping when someone’s progress was just too good. Fun fact: she’s also a qualified beautician.
Val Borrow
Pilates Teacher
Val discovered Pilates in 2010 while rehabilitating from a horse riding injury, and quickly experienced improvements in her strength, flexibility, and overall confidence in movement. Inspired by her own recovery, she qualified as a Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor with Future Fit in 2018, including training in pre/post-natal and orthopaedic conditions.
Val later transitioned into Classical Pilates, training as a reformer instructor with Julie Driver and completing the Fully Comprehensive Teacher Training Programme at Trent Park Pilates in 2025. Dedicated to her own daily practice, Val is known for her calm, encouraging approach and helps clients build strength, trust, and confidence in their bodies.
Chris Mcquade
Pilates Teacher
Chris’s love of Pilates began when a physio recommended it to help treat persistent back pain. Experiencing the restorative benefits firsthand, and seeing the transformations in his clients, is what continues to fuel his passion for teaching. With five years’ teaching experience and a background in professional dance training, Chris brings strong movement awareness and attention to detail. He is especially popular with beginner clients, helping them discover the small details that make Pilates so effective and rewarding.
