Pilates is widely used to support rehabilitation and manage back pain by improving core strength, posture, and movement awareness. If you have an injury or medical condition, please inform your instructor before class and consult your healthcare professional prior to participation.

For best results, most clients benefit from 2–3 sessions per week. Even one session per week can lead to improvements in strength, mobility, and body awareness over time.

Yes, with medical clearance.In line with Trent Park Pilates studio policy, clients who are pregnant may attend sessions, however:
• We strongly recommend transitioning to private sessions after 12 weeks of pregnancy for safety and personalised support
• We do not recommend changing instructors during pregnancy, as consistency allows your teacher to fully understand your body, pregnancy stage, and individual needs.Please inform your instructor if you are pregnant and ensure you have clearance from your doctor or midwife before participating.

Yes, beginners are very welcome.We recommend starting with a few private sessions to help you become fully acquainted with the equipment, studio environment, and teaching style. Our classes use detailed verbal cues, which can feel overwhelming at first without prior experience.
Once you are comfortable, we recommend attending beginner-level classes until you feel confident or your teacher advises otherwise.

We don’t offer single taster sessions, as we believe one class is not enough to truly experience Pilates.
Instead, we offer a Welcome Pack: 3 classes for the price of 2. This allows you to:
• Try different class styles
• Experience different teachers
• Find what suits your body and goals best

Pilates helps build lean muscle, improve posture, and increase body awareness. While it is not a high-intensity calorie-burning workout, it supports long-term strength, movement efficiency, and overall body composition when combined with a healthy lifestyle.

Just yourself and a water bottle. All equipment is provided. Clients should attend sessions barefoot or wearing Pilates/grippy socks. We recommend comfortable Pilates attire and avoiding clothing with zips, as these can interfere with movement and equipment.

Yes. Toilets are located at Equus Café, directly next to the studio.

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged or losing your session credit. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full, in line with studio policy.
